Junior Azure Cloud Engineer

London Contract Aug 15, 2020 - Feb 15, 2021

We have an exciting position for a Junior DevOps Engineer.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

Taking care of Azure subscriptions and resources
Verifying the systems performance
Constantly researching new technologies and recommending improvements
Automating manual processes
Managing Azure DevOps pipelines
Making sure system remains in the best state and putting DR plan at place
Create reports and assisting developers
Monitoring and acting on System alerts

Requirements

Must have analytical & problem solving skills
Prior experience of handling large and complex systems
Good communication skill
Experience of working on Agile and the ability to deliver value fast
Knowledge of Windows Server, Azure Cloud and PowerShel
Hands on experience in Azure PaaS, ARM templates, Azure DevOps
(VSTS), Azure CLI and Azure DevOps deployment pipelines would be an added advantage

Kubernetes infrastructure, in an on-prem deployment scenario, along with expericne installing, configuring and administering Kubernetes distributions * Strong Systems Administrator skills from a software development environment * Scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, and/or Bash * Flexibe and friendly in approach with experience running and supporting a global 24×7 internet based service or product

This exciting Kubernetes DevOps Administrator role is focused on supporting my client’s infrastructure design, service maintenance and upgrades, along with implementation and maintenance of tools and automation.

Kubernetes infrastructure, in an on-prem deployment scenario, along with expericne installing, configuring and administering Kubernetes distributions
Strong Systems Administrator skills from a software development environment
Docker containers/ experience with containerization tech
General and Kubernetes networking/firewall concepts
Experience with complex IT infrastructure architecture planning, design, and implementation
Expericne working in an environment with formally structured IT Operational processeses e.g. work request ticket management, incident management, change management, and problem management
Scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, and/or Bash
